Participants jubilantly express their experiences of the conference through movement and sound.

From my perspective, this was a wonderfully successful PTO Conference. Breakout sessions proved to offer great variety of both Pedagogy of the Oppressed and Theatre of the Oppressed work, featured presenters were challenging to say the least, evening events — both formal and informal — were compelling, and the Closing Session revealed, as often happens, a wide range of positive responses.

That PTO is moving resolutely into actions that are even more foundational, community-based, and committed to radical transformation means I think that the PTO Conference may well become a site of important movement work. Already people are talking about Omaha in 2014. Put on your seat belts, folks. PTO is  an exciting ride.
