PTO Online Shop
Visit our online shop to buy our brand new DVDs, including the souvenir DVD of our 2009 Conference in Minneapolis. We are also proud to introduce our last project with Augusto Boal:
From Forum to Legislative Theatre with Augusto and Julian Boal is an informative, insightful look into the methods and practice of Forum and Legislative Theatre as developed by Augusto Boal.
This DVD is not a documentary, but rather a documented process intended to assist practitioners of all kinds, those beginning their exploration and use of the techniques as well as those seeking further insight, with their work towards implementing and developing Forum and Legislative Theatre.
The 3-day workshop with Augusto and Julian Boal took place as part of the 14th Annual International PTO Conference (May 2008) in Omaha, Nebraska, and culminated in a symbolic Legislative Theatre session at the Omaha City Council.
Over 18 hours of material has been edited into easily viewable sections, each highlighting a tool, a method, a technique of rehearsal, or insights into the greater body of work that is the Theatre of the Oppressed from Augusto and Julian Boal.
