Reflection: Opening night

The Opening Event by Transit Arts was a phenomenal beginning to the conference!  The level of skill in break, street, and free dancing had the audience-dancers in a flood of energy.  At the same time, the scratching and rap mic-ing as well as over-the-top sampling showed Transit Arts is a powerful crowd of community-based young people who can speak truth to power while they ignite explosions of happiness!  A rocket-to-the-moon start!  — Lester
